What is a Vidume?
A Vidume is a personal and honest way of presenting yourself on video for a potential employer to view. Using a simple webcam or camcorder you can express yourself as you like to make an impression. For example, you can display diplomas or awards or even demonstrate your skills, all on video. In the same way that text on a piece of paper related to a job application is refered to as resume, this is called a Vidume. Only at Employment Heaven.com

Why should I create a Web-friendly resume?
This allows an employer to view your resume directly on the site without having to download a document. Some employers may have security issues preventing them from downloading from a hyperlink or may elect not to. This way you are guaranteed they will be able to view your resume!

No, your photos are automatically approved and uploaded immediately to your profile.

Yes, all photos will be reviewed immediately. Any undesired or malicious content discovered in any photo files will result in the permanent indefinite deletion of your account, IP address, and email. In addition to an official report to authoritys.

Yes, all video files are reviewed by our staff for approval prior to becoming active to any jobseeker or employer account. Any undesirable or malicious content discovered in any video file will result in the permanent indefinite and ireversable deletion of your account. IP address, email and an official report to authorities.

Is it permissible to save and/or download a Jobseeker photo from the site into my computer?
No. Any discovered evidence of this sort of activity by Employment Heaven staff will result in the permanent lifetime deletion of your employer account. IP address and email.

What if an application email message ends up in the wrong partys Inbox?
Auto links bypassing the need for an employer to Login are included in these emails. If a link is used from an alternate IP address, (other than the one used during original registration) the employer is directed to the login page and must know their password.

What is an appropriate type of photo?
We recommend something similar to a passport photo, however full length is also acceptable. Just remember that this is not a social networking site, it's an employment site and that you are presenting yourself for a job. Photos are to allow Employers to visually match you to your text resume.

Will Employment Heaven assist me in the creation of my personal Vidume or company video?
No. At the present time, we do not provide any sort of service that offers assistance pertaining to the creation of your Vidume or company video.

As a job seeker or Employer, I have entered information in text boxes as instructed. Why do I see certain odd funny looking symbols/characters on a live test?
This happens from time to time during code translation. Especially when copying and pasting from another site. Also because our site currently does not support any language other than English. You may enter information in another language if you wish, however there is no certainty the characters you enter from your keyboard will display correctly. This is on our list of changes/improvements for the near future!

Help information for different issues is available to "Registered" Job Seekers only. This allows us to drastically reduce an employers cost to post jobs. Once Logged in,click on the help link to the top right, in the lower portion of your green tool bar. Remember the site is self serve. We have made it easy for you to register and navigate your own way to job applications!

How can I access Help, support, or general customer service by Employment Heaven staff?
Refer to either Job Seeker or Employer FAQ categories for further info. depending on which you are. Don`t worry, we are here for everybody, and will assist you the best we can! Customer service is available to registered users only. This alone allows us to offer low costs for employers to post jobs.

Does this site support a language other than English?
Yes. Data may be entered by seekers or employer job postings in all languages with accents including Chinese.

How many characters are permitted in the 'Cover Letter message to the employer' when applying to a job?
We allow 2000 characters Maximum.

What is 'Employer Block'?
This section iis located in step 4/4 of your registration. It allows a job seeker to input names of companies,employers of whom they wish not to see their profile. You can also enter any emails you know of that an employer may be registered under. Please understand this feature may not be 100% accurate if you have an off character or an employer has registered under separate cover. You can always see who has seen your profile under 'Who's viewed me?'.

Why do the hyperlinks embedded in your emails not work?
This is a defaulted security messure to guard you against spam. You may have to adjust another setting within your mail server. Research this on Google depending on your mail server. Ex. Hotmail: Settings>Mail>Check off "enable internet content" Remember that you can always copy and paste links into the address bar of your browser if you do not want to mess with your mail security settings.

How much will it cost me to join?
The site is free! There is no charge for job seekers to register and use all the features of our site. (There may be monthly fee for Vidume uploads in the distant future.)

How many emails can be added to a single employer account?
We allow up to 10 additional emails to any single registration. You can assign certain job applications to certain emails. Add a personal email for home use!

Are there any types of employers that Employment Heaven does NOT welcome?
YES, Scam artists posing as employers. Generally advertising "Work from home" positions, data entry, Homeowners looking for nannys. Or any employer that requests a fee to paid by a job seeker to apply to any job.

I am having troubles inputing my location. Your system will not accept my entries?
The site uses Java Script for the auto text of Countries, Cities, States, Provinces Regions etc.. Ensure you have enabled your Java script and select your location from the drop down. IF YOUR CITY OR TOWN IS NOT IN OUR DATABASE, PLEASE SELECT THE NEAREST AVAILABLE LOCATION AVAILABLE TO YOU. You may also just enter the State or Province. You may clarify this in your profile to any perspective employer!

No we do not. Employment heaven launched as a free site. We have made efforts to make the site ultra affordable for employers of all types. For example, the site access fee plus one job posting at present would only cost $39CA.

Do you guarantee the quality or the qualifications, skll sets etc. of the job seeker or applicant that submits a resume or Vidume to my job posting?

Will our company information be reviewed by Employment Heaven staff upon registration?
Yes, all company information and job postings info will be reviewed. Any inconsistent information will be brought to your attention for immediate correction. Remember that we are an honest legitimate organization and expect ALL our employers to be. We fully intend on living up to this by not allowing fraudulent companies and job postings that advertise false hopes and green dreams that are "for sale". Employment Heaven reserves the right to delete any employer account at ANY time.

Will Employment Heaven staff research our company in an attempt to authenticate or validate our companys basic account or job posting information?
Yes. At random, we may contact a company to verify certain pertinant information.

What is a confidential account?
Qualified employers may register under the Employment Heaven brand or entity and our company information will display in your account and all job postings. No party is able to see or obtain information about the employer or recruiter until you are contacted by the job seeker. All your job applications are delivered directly to the inbox of the email you have on file. Just as normal. Your indentity is revealed after you have initiated contact with your applicant. This service is currently $130 per month. For more information please contact our office.

If I post a job on employment heaven, will my job postings be advertised anywhere else on the internet?
Yes. We are part of an International network that redistributes your jobs to multiple job hunting sites. We also tweet all our jobs @cloud9jobs.

Ok, I have just activated a new job posting. How can I see this live posting as job seekers would?
Upon immediate activation you are directed to "My Jobs" page. Click on the link of your job below the menu item 'Title". This will open up a new window beautifully displaying your new job posting! You can also perform a conventional search from the green job seekers "Search Jobs"

What sort of 'Status' control features do you have for my jobs?
Each job is automatically activated. All jobs may be placed 'On Hold' or Re-activated any time during the 30 days. (so Long as the membership has not expired). Any job may be sent to 'Archived Jobs and maintained for your records. Note that any Archived job can NOT be re-activated and can only be deleted from this page. **Also be aware this is a PERMANENT deletion!

Can I edit my job after it has been activated?
Yes. You may edit any of the fields on your job details page. (My Jobs). Remember that the original links are sent out to affiliates with the original information attached, so changing the title or rate of pay, may cause confusion for some.

Can we upload a company Logo?
Yes, In your account you will notice the option to upload three separate photos. You may upload one of these as a .jpg picture of your company logo! These will accompany your Job postings for a seeker to view.

In my Job application notification email, how many characters do you allow job seekers in the cover letter section?
All cover letters are limited to 2000 Characters MAX.

What contact information is available for job seekers to see on our company profile page?
Remember that all job seekers are using their green tool bar when using the site. Employer registrant 'Names, and phone numbers are left out and are NOT PUBLIC. Only the information that you provide on your 'My Profile ' page (Company Description) or data such as names, phone numbers, emails or other contact information on Job detail pages are added at your own discretion, and therefore will be displayed.

Yes. All Jobseeker profiles and account information will be reviewed for consistency and accurate representation.

Will Employment Heaven staff outsource any inquires to third parties in an attempt to authenticate or validate information in my account or resume?
No. However any obvious false registration and non-legit applications to any employers reported to us, will result in the permanant lifetime deletion of an IP address and email.

How do I edit my profile?
On your home profile page you should see the words, 'edit' (in greyscale) beside the titles of the four different sections of your featured resume. Clicking here will direct you to the page allowing you to make changes. 'Remember to hit save!

Exactly what can the employer see. What information of mine is available to them?
Any employer can ONLY see the information that you post on your home Profile page. Including a link to download your resume. Remember that when you are using the site, you are doing so using your green tool bar and menu items up top,and when an employer views your profile they are doing so using their blue tool bar. So there is never any access to other information such as your log in credentials, job search history, or information on any other employers that you have interacted with and may have visited your profile. Also, when you "Apply for a Job", an email notification is sent to the employer. We include some basic information about yourself in this email. Such as your first name, location, years of experience, and a thumbnail of your photo if you have one uploaded on your profile. Remember that you are in control of your profiles searchability

I believe I have completed a resume but don't see anything on my profile but an error message. How do I correct this?
Be sure to go to "My Resumes" and set your selected resume to be "Featured" (YES). Some people may create more than one resume profile (for different occupations) but only one may be set to display on your profile. Be sure to select the correct resume when applying to the relative job posting.

Will an employer be notified of my application before their next log in?
Yes, they will receive an instant email notifying them of your application to the desired position.

What if there is an employer that I DO NOT want to see my profile, or the fact that I am looking for a job?
We have a feature called "Employer Block". This is a field box that is part of the "create new resume" section that is featured on your profile. It is also editable by clicking on the edit link beside 'Resume' on your My Profile page. This feature allows you to input either the names of companies or emails that you can block from viewing your profile, or even know you are registered on the site. Understand that it is not 100% accurate if you have a character off, or an employer has registered under separate cover.

How will I know if an employer has viewed my resume/profile?
We send you an email notification as soon as your home profile is impressed to any employer. It is also logged for your records in "Who's Viewed Me?" Note that we only send you one email evrey 30 days per employer, regardless of the # of times your profile has been viewed within that time period.

Will Employment Heaven help me create my Vidume?
No. At the present time, we do not provide any services of this kind. Employment Heaven will only provide technical assistance relating to the process of uploading a video file to EmploymentHeaven.com.

What if I want to delete my account?
Simply log in, go to "MY ACCOUNT". from here you will be able to delete your account yourself. Pleased be advised that in doing so, we will no longer have any of your information in our database to assist you with down the road. you will have to re-register.
